Montenegro Climate
The Adriatic coast has a typical Mediterranean climate, with hot dry summers and mild winters. This part of the Mediterranean coast is among the sunniest in Europe, with average summer temperature of 28 degrees. Summer begins in April and finishes in the end of October.
Those that prefer chillier air shouldn't be discouraged. Montenegro is the only country in the world offering you different climate in places only two hours distant from each other. Montenegro's winter ski resorts are just two hours drive from the coast with the Northern part of the country being covered with snow during the winter, Montenegro is quickly developing into one of Europe's popular winter sports destinations.
Diversity of climate from snow to sun in such a small region makes this country a unique holiday in both winter and summer.
